This was a series made for a creativity exercise. There wasn’t a clear goal in mind except trying to create something I had in my head for a while. I imagined making something in high fashion utilizing a model wearing a suit, and being placed in the elements. I chose the iconic San Rafael Civic Center and the rolling hills of Mt. Tamalpais. The combination of the modern architecture of the civic center clashing with the natural curves of nature got me thinking of our tendency to go back to simpler times to escape the stresses of the mundane daily life.
